CAMP 2012: From Cultural Heritage to Water Sports in Hungary!

Camp capacity: max. 30 persons, aged 17-22 years

Suggested: by air, Budapest "Liszt Ferenc" Airport (see: www.bud.hu/english )

Arrival to Camp:           14. July, 2012
Departure from Camp: 26. July, 2012

Family Hosting:       1 week before the Camp for participants arriving from Europe; 2 weeks for
                               those coming from Overseas (1 week before + 1 week after the Camp)
Camp fee:               195,- Euro ( = cca. 265,- USD), net amount to be transferred, all banking costs
                              and fees to be paid by the Applicant, until the 30th of April 2012.

Travel/Accident/Health Insurance:
- For European Participants: EHIC (see: http://ec.europa.eu/social/main.jsp?catId=559&langId=en ) is compulsory, individual/additional travel, accident, health insurance is recommended.
- For non-Europeans: Individual travel, accident, health insurance policy requested.
A copy of the Insurance Policy is requested with the Application Form, but latest upon arrival. Applicants travel and participate in the Camp and Host Family program at their own risk.
No insurance will be provided by LIONS.

The program includes:
Visit historic sites, sightseeing (Budapest, Szeged, Lake Balaton), water sports (kayak/canoe, wakeboard, sailing, swimming), traditional folk art (pottery,dancing, etc.)

Personal documents you will need:
Passport and/or national identity card, International Students ID, if you have one

What to bring:
Comfortable walking shoes, swimsuit, a cap or hat, rain jacket, backpack, a warm pull-over, whatever you need for a vacation: games, your musical instrument, etc.
