6. napunk délelőttjét a Magyar Máltai Szeretetszolgálat Jelenlét programjának monori Tabán Tanodájában töltöttük, melynek vezetője Némethné Fiel Gabriella, a sokéves együttműködést követően immáron tagtársunk fogadott minket, illetve kollégája Szilágyi Gertrúd Bernadett. Gabriella bemutatta a Tanoda tevékenységét, programjait, mely a telepi gyerekek napközijeként működik iskolai tanítási időn kívül is. Gerti az új nagyon sikeres lakásbérleti programról beszélt bővebben. Ezt követően átadtuk ajándékainkat, színes ceruzákat és csillámtetoválásokat. Ezt követően a diákjaink 3 csapatra váltak, az első csapat megnézhette a tanoda mindennapjairól és programjairól készült kisfilmet, immáron a Monor Hegyessy Lions Klub támogatásával klimatizált helyiségben. A 2. csapat mindjárt neki is látott a tetoválások felhelyezésére, a harmadik csapat pedig foci csatát vívott kis vendéglátóinkkal. Felemelő érzés volt mindannyiunk számára látni a gyermekek boldogságát, élőben és a kisfilmen is. Beszéljenek a képek helyettem.

We spent the morning of our 6th day at the Tabán Tanoda in Monor, operated by the Presence Program of the Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta.

Its leader, Gabriella Némethné Fiel, who is now also a fellow Lions Club member after many years of cooperation, welcomed us along with her colleague, Bernadett Gertrúd Szilágyi. Gabriella introduced the activities and programs of the Tanoda, which serves as an after-school center for children from the nearby housing estate, even outside school hours. Gerti spoke in more detail about their new, highly successful rental housing program. Afterward, we handed over our gifts: colored pencils and glitter tattoos. Then, our students split into three teams:

– The first team watched a short film about the everyday life and programs of the Tanoda, in a newly air-conditioned room thanks to the support of the Monor Hegyessy Lions Club.

– The second team got straight to work applying glitter tattoos.

– The third team played an intense football match with our young hosts.

It was a moving experience for all of us to witness the children’s joy — both in person and through the short film.
