The members of our Lions clubs are unselfish, generous people who are ready to help wherever they can. Therefore, we are also engaged in activities that aim to improve the community and environment in our places of living. As a result, Lion members often carry out “hands on service” in the life of local communities such as renovating or painting buildings, or repairing playgrounds or the parks of nursery schools. Lions all over the world promote their devotion to protect the environment; they plant trees, clean natural sites (such as river beds) and educate the young. In the course of their activities, Hungarian Lions clubs also carefully pay an attention to the development of their close communities, and the protection of the environment.
