LIONS YEC Cseretábor 2025 - 6. nap - Magyar Este

A 6. napunk délutánján a Vasadi Hagyományőrző Citerazenekar próbáját látogattuk meg, és Monori Sándor táborigazgató valamint I. Alkormányzónk szervezésében Magyar esten vehettek részt a diákok. A magyar néptáncok oktatására Balázs Pétert kérte fel. A Vasadi Művelődési Ház vezetője, Kériné Veroczki Barbara fogadott minket, aki 3. éve nem múló lelkesedéssel mutatta be nekünk a könyvtárat, és Vasad új büszkeségét a Tájházat. Hagyományosan ez az az este, amikor a Monor Hegyessy Lions Klub tagjai látják vendégül a táborlakókat. Idén több monori és Monor környéki fogadócsaládunk volt, így ők is velünk töltötték ezt a fergeteges estét. Hálás köszönet a finom ételekért klubunk tagjainak, különösképpen Jávorszky Attiláné Manyikának, aki szervezést magára vállalta idén is.

Szeretnénk még köszönetünket kifejezni a Vasadi Hagyományőrző Egyesület új vezetőjének Szüle Lajosnak a zenekar felkészítésért, és tagjainak a fantasztikus hangulatú fellépésért és Jávorszky Istvánnak és Marcinak, akik lovaskocsival mutatták be ifjú vendégeinknek szép kis településünket, Vasadot.

On the afternoon of our 6th day, we visited the rehearsal of the Vasad Traditional Zither Orchestra, and thanks to the organization of Camp Director Sándor Monori and our 1st Vice District Governor, the students were treated to a Hungarian-themed evening.

Péter Balázs was invited to teach Hungarian folk dances.

We were welcomed by Barbara Kériné Veroczki, head of the Vasad Cultural Center, who – now for the third year in a row – introduced us to the library and Vasad’s new pride: the Folk House (Tájház), with unwavering enthusiasm.

Traditionally, this is the evening when members of the Monor Hegyessy Lions Club host the campers.

This year, several of our host families came from Monor and the surrounding area, so they also joined us for this fantastic evening.

We are deeply grateful to our club members for the delicious food – especially to Mrs. Attila Jávorszky (Manyika), who once again took charge of organizing the event this year.

We would also like to express our thanks to Lajos Szüle, the new leader of the Vasad Traditional Heritage Association, for preparing the orchestra, and to the members of the ensemble for their amazing and lively performance.

Special thanks to István and Marci Jávorszky, who gave our young guests a tour of our lovely village, Vasad, in a horse-drawn carriage.
